We need some healthy fun for early January! Join Kathryn and I for a morning of yoga and pilates, with some time to socialise with other movers.
As Kathryn and I are both Hassocks-based movement teachers, we thought it would be fun to offer a whole morning of varied movement and a chance for some socialising, just for our regular students.
- 75 minutes Yoga class with me
- A break to chat and relax over our delicious homemade refreshments
- 75 minutes Pilates mat class with Kathryn
You can choose to do one or both sessions.
This morning of movement will be held at the beautiful ‘The Studio’, my favourite venue in Brighton.
To make the most of the venue, there will be a photographer in attendance to capture what we do (to provide photos for our websites and social media)
and to reflect our appreciation for students who don’t mind having their picture taken, the morning is a snip at £20, or £10 for one of the sessions, all refreshments included.
Some info on Kathryn’s mat pilates style of teaching:
I teach a style of matwork pilates called Garuda, it’s a beautiful flowing style that often comprises a lot of standing work enabling a fully functional workout. I’ve found the best part is that you really get lots of juicy movement from the spine and ribs which helps you to feel more free and gets the abdominals firing by giving them something to do while your body is moving. There is plenty of mobility work built into flowing sequences so working those muscles is balanced with keeping the joints flexible. Kathryn Meadows at www.lovemovementsussex.com
